Chromate on Aluminum

Chromate on aluminum also call Alodine is a chemical immersion process used to clean and protect the base metal from corrosion and is also used as a paint base. Chem film as it is also commonly called has average corrosion resistance, does not show great wear resistance and is electrically conductive unlike anodize which is a dielectric coating. Chromate can be applied either in bulk or racked as required.

Our processes include:

• Chromate conversion non-ROHS per Mil-DTL-5541
• Chromate conversion ROHS compliant per MIL-DTL-5541
