Zinc Phosphate

Zinc and manganese phosphate is a granular textured coating used for corrosion resistance on ferrous materials. Phosphate and oil is used for corrosion resistance and as a lubricant base layer, non-oiled it is used as a paint/coating base it can be applied by immersion or spraying. Phosphate can be processed either bulk or racked, in its bare state phosphate is a light to medium gray color, in its oiled state it is a smooth texture with a dark grey to black color.
